Our Facilities

Inglemoor Cooperative Preschool is housed in two portable classrooms on the Carl Sandburg Elementary School campus in Kirkland, Washington.

Indoor activity areas include:

  • Arts and crafts (painting, play dough and seasonal/theme crafts)
  • Dramatic play (puppets and a play house)
  • Library, puzzles, games and table toys
  • Science, sensory table, and cooking
  • Floor toys and blocks
  • A supplementary activity room for our 3/4 and Pre-K classes.

Outdoor play areas include:

  • All children can ride tricycles on the paved area
  • All children can play in the small play structure
  • All children can play in the covered outdoor area
  • The Pre-K class can use all of the playground equipment at Carl Sandburg Elementary

The art table and supplies are open every day at free play time. We feature stamps and ink, glue and glitter, colored paper and scissors, and small miscellaneous art supplies which we combine in innovative and fun ways.

Our painting easels are also open every day. Students are encouraged to paint with hands, brushes, rollers, "mops" and other tools. "Dress for Mess" is our dress code.

Our playdough is made fresh every two weeks.

A nutritious snack is available during free play time.

Extra indoor space is available in our supplemental activity room.

Our children play outdoors rain or shine so wearing boots and warm clothing is recommended during the colder months.

The young children's play structure at Carl Sandburg elementary. Our Pre-K class also gets use of a more advanced climbing structure not pictured here. Outdoor activity areas include a creative play area, a large outdoor playground and a covered outdoor play area.

Our school offers scooters and tricycles with helmets, toy cars, balls, hula hoops and much more.
