Terms of Use

  1. Ad placement in the Marketplace is only for Inglemoor Cooperative Preschool members.
  2. Inglemoor Cooperative Preschool is not endorsing, warranting or otherwise legitimizing any transactions on this site. This page is strictly a convenience for ICP members to facilitate sales and exchanges of goods.
  3. Any applicable laws, regulations or taxes are strictly the responsibility of the buyer and seller.
  4. Commercial ads are not currently accepted. For now, we're focusing on allowing members to buy, sell and trade stuff for their growing children.
  5. Ads will be removed after one month, though feel free to submit an updated ad again. Please remove ads when they are no longer valid (or you'll be getting a lot of phone calls that you don't want to answer).
  6. Ads will be censored by the Webmaster as required.

How to submit an ad

  1. Send the webmaster an email with "MarketPlace Ad" in the Subject field, and the email contents should have a title and description as well as how to contact you. To verify that you are an ICP member, include your full name, your child's first name and ICP class.
  2. Please limit your ads to 100 words. Pictures limited to 640 x 640 pixels maximum. You can include a link to a picture or website, but the webmaster will not correct any errors in the link. Currently we have no limits on the number of ads, but if ad count gets out of hand, we may implement a limit.
  3. To remove the ad, send the webmaster an email with "Remove MarketPlace Ad" in the Subject field, then tell me which ad (title and date of submission) to remove.
  4. Using your email, phone number or your name is not recommended in your ad because the whole world can find this information via search engines. You can specify a child's class and first name and ask someone to look it up in the handbook. Or have interested parties contact you via the preschool mailboxes in the classroom. If you do use your full name, email or phone number, you do so at your own risk (risk of unsolicited commercial email, unsolicited phone calls and perhaps worse).
  5. You may want to open a free email account somewhere (like Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail) just for MarketPlace use but don't forget to check your new account regularly. It's important to know that robots will search the MarketPlace page regularly and start sending you spam very quickly.
  6. Feel free to send in comments regarding the MarketPlace service to our Webmaster. This website is here to serve the ICP community.
