Visit a Pet Store

Denny's Pets in Totem Lake, Petco in Rose Hill.

Classes

Attend a drop-in class (for toddlers) at Northwest Aerials (off 124th Street in Totem Lake) - $6 for 30 minutes, several times a day.

Story Time

Enjoy free story time at local bookstore or library:

Playtime

Participate in indoor playtime at a local community center:

  • North Kirkland Community Center (12421 103rd Ave. N.E., Kirkland, 425-587-3350) - Toddler open play time from: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays; 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays; and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. Thursdays. Cost is $2, for ages 1 to 5. (Closed for Lake Washington School District vacation weeks.)

Attend drop-in playtime at Pump It Up (116th Street in Kirkland) - $6 for 1 hour & 15 minutes, several times a week. A similar alternative is Jump Planet in Bothell.

Romp around an indoor or covered/fenced outdoor rain-protected playground at:

  • The "boat" and "ferry" playgrounds at Bellevue Square. Also a "ferry" at Factoria mall, next to the KidsQuest Museum.
  • McDonald's playgrounds (various locations everywhere).
