Want to start your preschool year off right? Here are some tips from the teachers!

Give yourself extra time on your first day, rushing will make everyone feel a bit

more anxious.

 Have a plan! We start off with a slow start week so there is no drop off, but the second week of school, decide if you want to start dropping off or want to ease into drop off. Communicate with your teacher and she can help you.

  • Read books with your child about school

  • Attend our “Welcome Back Night” on September 10th at 6:30pm so you can learn about how our program works. Make sure that caregivers that will be working in the class attend so they can learn too. It helps our program to run smoothly when we are all on the same page.

  • Arrive on time and pick up on time, this helps children have stability and establish

routine.

  • Participate! Children will be more likely to play, sing, listen and create when they see you doing it with them!

  •  Ask questions to other parents and your teachers – we are all here to help each other

Have fun! Enjoy this special time in life!
